There is free tax assistance for seniors, made possible through AARP Tax-Aide, open to anyone. To participate:
E-mail your interest to AARPTaxesWeaverville@gmail.com .
You will receive an internet link to a website where you can make an appointment.
When scheduled, drop off your tax documents with the tax helpers in the Connector, without coming in the building.
The next Thursday, come back to pick up and sign your tax return.
(People without internet access can call the church to get a telephone contact number. Call that number on Mondays to make an appointment.)
