Weekly Bible Study – Les Misérables: Lessons on Grace, part 2

As we continue thinking about a life defined by Grace or Judgement, we think about ourselves. When are we more like Javert and the Pharisees? And could we ever be like the Bishop in Les Mis, who shows incredible grace to Valjean? The Bishop calls the gift "a ransom" for Valjean's life, which reminds us of Jesus paying his life for ours. As always, Jesus is our standard and sweet spot for how to show grace that truly helps people.
