Meditation Thought for Worship: We want life to be just the way we like it, and then for it to never change. Certainly not have any unexpected surprises. But Jesus calls us to have mountaintop experiences where we feel real transformation that we can take back to normal life. We don’t like fast changes, so we resist transformation, even though God is working to transform us at all times. If only we’ll have the courage to follow Jesus up the mountain.
