Silent Meditation: If temptations weren’t tempting, then they wouldn’t be temptations. What makes them so tempting is what we might be able to get out of it; what’s in it for us. But that’s the kind of self-serving limited view that will get us or others in trouble. Instead, God calls us to expand our perspective, let go of what we might want or like, and think about what can bless others in the area where God has planted us.
