Silent Meditation: It’s always easier to not do anything than it is to be active. That’s why it’s so tempting. Even when people are hurting or in need, we might think it’s terrible, but we still give in to the temptation of not doing anything and just praying that God would take care of it all. But Jesus calls us to a higher standard. Even when we don’t think we can help, he calls us to give whatever we have, and he’ll take care of the rest.
