Silent Meditation: It’s easy to get depressed by the news these days. With 24-hour news coverage and the internet in our hands, we now hear about every sad thing everywhere. It can feel like things just keep getting worse, even if there’s no more bad things happening now than there always was. But hearing so much, makes us anxious. So Jesus tells us to not be alarmed, the end isn’t necessarily near, and we shouldn’t give up on our mission.
