Silent Meditation: As humans, we all start out caring mostly about ourselves—our wants, our preferences, our likes and dislikes. But if we can mature and start imitating the outlook of Christ, then our vision will expand: we will begin caring more about others. The aim is for our vision to grow towards God’s vision, and in so doing, we realize “it’s not about us,” but about serving others. That growing is a lifelong process.
