Community Worship, Drive-in Church – Sunday, July 12, 9:00 am
On Sunday, July 12, at 9:00 am, we will have a Community Worship Service with our neighbors at Weaverville United Methodist Church. It will be a welcome opportunity to be present with each other, see good folks face-to-face who we’ve missed, and worship together with our neighbors. People will park in our main lot behind the Fellowship Hall, and then worship will be in the lot that’s behind the Methodist playground, where people will sit socially-distanced by households. Bring lawn chairs if you have good ones, and we will have folding chairs available, or bring a blanket to sit in the grass. It will be about a 40 minute service of encouragement and blessing. If you would like to remain in your car because of mobility issues, call the church and we’ll reserve a parking spot close to the worship area. (We will record the service and make it available online like normal for those who cannot attend.) We hope to see you there to enjoy the blessing of worshiping in the same space after so long!
