BWIM Month of Advocacy Guest Preacher
We welcome Rev. Dr. Wanda Hardee Kidd as our guest preacher this Sunday. Wanda and her husband Dan live in Mars Hill. They have two grown children: a daughter in Durham and a son in Atlanta. She has an undergraduate degree in Home Economics from Western Carolina, a Master of Divinity & Religious Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Drew University. She has served in several churches as a youth and children’s minister, as well as Mars Hill University in the Service Learning program and as the Baptist campus minister at Western Carolina University. She served with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship as the specialist for collegiate ministry and worked for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of NC as coordinator of collegiate engagement. Wanda travels, teaches, leads groups, preaches, does a little stand-up, and writes. She was mostly retired until Hurricane Helene recovery allowed her to return part-time work with CBFNC as the Helene Disaster Response Director. This year we are honored to host her as our Baptist Women in Ministry guest preacher!
