What big questions are on your mind?

What does it mean to be “good”?

How do we arrange our lives together?

If God is good, why do bad things happen?

Why is injustice so pervasive?

We enjoy asking and discussing big questions like those and we hope you’ll join us.

We’re always eating and reading together, so you’ll find our date/time, location, and reading/topic below, as well as some information about what to expect. Everyone is welcome, so don’t hesitate to join us.

Monday,
November 11th

5:30-7PM @ Eluvium Brewing in Weaverville, NC

What you can expect

At Big Questions, you’ll find a a group of people hoping to grow together. We examine faith, doubt, and the best and worst of Christianity. While most folks are Christians, that’s certainly not always the case and we’re open to all.

Most will buy a coffee, tea, beer, or even dinner. No pressure for having to make a purchase though.

What you will always find is honesty and respect, but also challenge.

We grow together because only together can we truly examine our lives and the claims we make. Alone, we’re prone to believe any story we tell ourselves.

We hope to see you soon.

Readings

Some past questions have included:

  • What profession other than your own would you like to do?

  • How do you balance self-care and serving others?

  • Do you think that, in general, most people are doing the best that they can in life?

We also received some great questions too. So don’t forget to bring your own on Monday!
