Epiphany Star Words

Last Sunday during worship, everyone in the sanctuary received a Epiphany Star Word for 2025. The concept for the spiritual practice of Star Words is simple: one singular star guided the Magi to Jesus. And since, like the Magi, we too seek to draw closer to Jesus, our Star Word can help us do so. Whatever word you get, let it ruminate in your heart and mind for the entire year. Ponder what significance your word might have in your life, and how God might be speaking to you about the idea or concept it carries. You might put your Star Word on your mirror to see in the morning, maybe in your Bible or devotion book, or on your desk.

If you were not able to be here on Sunday but would still like a Star Word, let Regina know. She has extras to give out or mail if anyone is interested. Or, you can use the following activity to make your own. First, pick a number between 1 and 100. Then, open the document here and find that number. That is your Star Word. It is our hope that this practice brings meaning to you and draws you closer to Jesus.
